QWTSTARN

1988 Honda CRX-DX
It has pretty much been named his tag- QWTSTARN (Quit
Starin')
Engine:
1.5 liter 4 cylinder.
with an automatic transmission. Powder coated valve cover,
Hot Shot ceramic coated header and Hot Shot chrome intake.
NGK plugs and 8mm wires. Steel braid, blue silicon hoses.
Turbo muffler with 4.5" Sebring tip. A few painted,
polished and chrome pieces.

Body:
Shaved (handles, antenna,
squirters and emblems) Wings west RS series 6-piece body kit and
Super Style wing. Clear front lenses with Hyper white
bulbs. 40% tint on ALL windows (even windsheild).
Painted mirrors. The paint is a 95 Dodge Stealth factory color,
Pearl white. The paint is R&M Daimont and is a 3 step
paint. All paint and body work was done byTommy Rickard.

Suspension:
Four corner airbag set-up from
Excentrix Auto Innovations (EAI) or The Hack Shack. The
set-up is ran off of a 30 cubic foot S.C.U.B.A. tank that is
running a constant 132psi. The front has 1600 lb bags and
the rear has 2500 lb bags. The bag brackets are painted
mistic. The rear lower control arms are off of a 91 Civic
hatch back. All of the factory brake lines mounting
brackets have been shaved to clear the bags. I have 4 push
button manual valve (seperate front and rear) and two manual fast
valves for quick dumps. Installed with the help of friends and
Slammed Impressions.

Interior:
Full tweed (Twilight
Blue). H's in both the floor boards and headliner. Custom
molded center console to hold cd player and suspension controls.
Billit Specialties "Revolver" half wrap steering
wheel. Billit shifter, e-brake handle and pedals.
Digital volt gauge in driver side a-pillar. Painted pieces.
Power windows mounted in center console. Most of the
interior was done by myself but the hard areas (Floor, dash,
seat, and anything that needed to be sewed) was done by Rick
Parris and BobbyRoberts at Automotive Trim Tech.

Stereo System:
Panasonic DPX-95 CD player,
Petra's "Mr. Q" crossover, Audio Control EQT's with
white cases. Orion 97.1 amp in a motorized amp rack.
Secondary Stinger battery in hatch. Vocal speakers; MB
Quart- (2) 6.5" mids, (2) 5.25" mids, (4)tweets.
Orion- (2) 6.5" midbass, (2) 15" DVC subs (mounted in
spare tire well). DEI alarm with 9 functions. Blue
neon surrounds most of the stereo pieces, tools mounted in hatch
area and is under the Orion symbol. All built and installed
at Car-Tunz by Paul MacDonald.

The car has been seen in
Minitruckin' Magazine (May 1999), Lowrider(April 2000), Street
Scene Online Magazine (June 2000) and in the readers rides
sections in Sport Compact car Magazine and Import Tuner
Magazine. The car is for sale as is (complete!) for
$12,500.
